New Website Launch! WendyGell.com

I am delighted to announce a new website launch for renowned fashion jewelry designer Wendy Gell at wendygell.com!

Wendy’s previous website was beautiful, but the infrastructure needed updating and she wanted a fresh new look that was unpretentious, yet highlighted her past accomplishments, with modern ecommerce features that would enable her to sell her incredibly sparkling and beautiful fashion jewelry designs. We began by streamlining her email newsletter and creating temporary pages with several new pieces of jewelry not previously seen on her website. Then, behind the scenes, we created a new site on the WordPress platform, using the flexible and responsive Divi theme by Elegant Themes so it would display nicely on mobile devices. Then we added a WooCommerce shopping cart with PayPal as the primary payment gateway. Optimized the site and products using the highly respected SEO for WordPress plugin by Yoast and added BulletProof Security to protect her investment in the site and to protect her visitors from malware. Once all the products were added to the shop and everything was ready to go, we migrated the development site to its permanent home at wendygell.com.

What we wound up with is a beautiful site that highlights Wendy’s fashion, bridal, and holiday jewelry designs (along with some gorgeous tiaras for princesses big and little!) as well as her fabulous Gelastic Art, with a beautiful shop that displays subcategories nicely with the modestly priced Nested Categories extension by WooThemes. She made a sale almost immediately! We also included features that will help her continue to grow her following, with social follow and sharing tools by AddThis and a newsletter signup form.

We invite you to visit Wendy’s site and feast your eyes on glittering pop art fashion jewelry to your heart’s desire! Wendy plans to continue adding to her new online shop, so there will be new jewelry items and artwork to see on a regular basis, and there is much to learn about this talented designer whose jewelry has appeared on the Oprah show, been worn & collected by household name movie, television and pop art culture celebrities – even royalty! – and featured in fashion magazines around the world for decades. I am so honored to be working with this amazing woman and her enduring talent, and equally proud of her new website. See how beautifully we can display the items you want to offer for sale online and contact us to discuss what we can do to help you accomplish your own online business objectives.

New Website for Artist Elaine Frenett!

I love working for artists! Like anyone else, I get tired working at my computer for so many hours each day, but the beauty of their work makes it a pleasure from which I never tire. Elaine’s watercolors are a prime example ~ I felt so refreshed after completing her new website! Please visit it, not just to examine my work in putting together this WordPress site using Elegant Themes’ “Envisioned” theme., but to enjoy the galleries of her incredible watercolors. Maybe you’ll like them as much as I do and will contact her to make a purchase.Elaine also teaches visual art journaling ~ if you’re into journaling, you should visit her blog to see how her watercolor illustrations make her memories come to life in the pages!

Here’s a look at the top part of Elaine’s Home Page. You can see the entire page in my Portfolio, but I really do encourage you to visit her site and see it live.

Site Update for Janet London’s London Hummingbird Arts

New Print Gallery slide for "Alpine Meadow"

An update completed on October 17, 2012 for London Hummingbird Arts included the addition of a soon-to-be-available pressed flower art print, “Alpine Meadow” to Janet’s Print Gallery and a new pressed flower product to her Pressed Flower Art Store – pendants showcasing a tiny pressed flower landscape in three designs!

Soooo pretty…sooo much fun to work with these images! I sent one of these to my daughter in southern California. Hers was two-sided, with a sunrise on one side and a sunset on the other. She hangs it from the rear-view mirror of her car.

Site Update for Jannie Ledard Glass Art

I recently updated Jannie Ledard’s website, www.jannieledardglassart.com, to show pieces in her stained glass section that have sold and adding a few new pieces. They’re spectacular and really deserve a look! We’ll be adding some new pieces to her fused glass jewelry page soon, I’ll post again when that’s ready.

Meanwhile, I spent the weekend working on a logo design for a startup company in Southern Oregon and anticipate beginning their new website shortly. Mostly under wraps until they’re ready to begin promoting it, but I’ll post links as soon as they are.

I also put up a one-page site for Southern Oregon music label Revelation Cafe, representing Lazar and Tribal Frequencies. Lazar was quite the sensation when he first debuted earlier this year, and he joined up with JT Witness to form Tribal Frequencies. There’s an iTunes preview module in the page – take a listen and tell us what you think when sharing on your favorite network so we can report back to them! This was fun. We’ll be adding more to this site in the future…
