Pricing Guidelines
My base price of 600.00 for a starter website includes assistance with domain registration and hosting setup; layout, simple site design and publishing of your home page; one additional page with a Flash or PicLens slideshow with up to 10 images or a static gallery/store with up to 15 images; plus site submission to the three major search engines: Google, Yahoo, and MSN. Additional pages average 125.00 each, but can be considerably less if they only require pre-written text. You can look at my Options page to get an idea of what additional features might cost. The site thumbnails below show the price that the original site design cost. Most of them have had additions since their original launch that would add to their value.

Website Maintenance and Updates
Whether you're launching a new site or have one established, your website is going to need updates from time to time. This is where things can get tricky. I'm sure you've heard horror stories from people whose designers haven't made themselves available for the "care and feeding" of their client's ongoing needs. One woman told me she went through 3 webmasters over the 15 years since she launched her site, and not one of them took the time to correct the incredible number of typographical errors in every page! One of them was charging her 135.00/hour! I find this unprofessional and want you to know that my work is thorough and I care about the details. If you see a mistake I've missed, please let me know and I'll fix it.
For updates that require additional pages, changes to the style or content of existing pages and new elements of any kind, my prices are reasonable and my work timely. Some changes take little time, others require a lot of work, and I'm flexible. In general, most changes to an existing page are 25.00 and new pages are 125.00 each (though they often come out less). Where the work involved in creating a new page or editing an existing page is substantially beyond what I can do for these prices, I'll ask 25.00/hour. Style changes are usually more painless than one might expect, and additions of elements such as slideshows, static image galleries, custom Flash presentations and product ordering pages are priced by quotation. Payment
I can begin designing your website with a 50% deposit; payment options are available to you depending on your location and what form of payment you're comfortable with...Please for more information. For your convenience, I also accept credit/debit card payments via PayPal. You don't have to open an account to use their secure payment service, just follow the instructions on the I'll send you. If you have already have a Paypal account, with your Paypal registered email address to speed up the process.
If you intend to sell products on your website, having a PayPal account is a great idea, so if you don't yet have one, click the link below to learn more and to sign up. You'll be able to offer your customers flexibility in payment methods, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover, as well as e-checks and debit transactions. Choosing a personal account will get you started, but to avoid a receiving limit of 1000.00 per month and to access several features that come in handy, I recommend a business account. It's free.
